• Trade target: Both sides agreed to aim to double bilateral trade by 2030.
• Grand Cross of Order of Honour: Greece awarded PM Modi this honour, the country's second-highest civilian award. Established in 1975.

• Scale: Approximately 20 crore children in India exceed the WHO safe blood lead level of 5 micrograms per decilitre (µg/dL).
• Health effects: Lead causes irreversible neurological damage, reducing IQ and impairing learning and behavioural development. It also damages kidneys.
• High-burden states: Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Andhra Pradesh account for 40 per cent of affected children.
• Sources of exposure: Informal recycling of lead-acid batteries, lead-containing paints, contaminated water from old lead pipes, and spices adulterated with lead chromate.
• Regulatory response: Lead Battery Waste Management Rules, 2016 regulate battery recycling. Lead paint regulations exist but are weakly enforced in the informal sector.
• National Health Mission: Provides a framework for addressing lead poisoning as part of broader environmental health under NHM.

• NSR traffic: NSR cargo traffic increased approximately 73 per cent between 2018 and 2022.
• Russia's icebreaker fleet: Russia operates the world's only nuclear-powered icebreaker fleet, which keeps the NSR open for shipping.
• Climate link: Arctic warming is reducing sea ice, making the NSR increasingly navigable year-round.

• Government initiatives: NASSCOM and the Ministry of Electronics and IT run AI skilling programmes. The National AI Strategy and AI Mission target making India an AI-ready economy.

Denmark announced legislation to ban public burning of the Quran and other religious texts. This was in response to protests across Muslim-majority countries.

• Denmark's geography: A Scandinavian nation connected to Sweden via the Oresund Bridge. Capital is Copenhagen.
• Free speech balance: The debate highlighted the tension between freedom of expression (protected under Danish law) and preventing hate speech and protecting diplomatic relations.
• India's diplomatic interest: India, with significant Muslim and Hindu populations, follows blasphemy and religious incitement debates carefully. Relations with Gulf countries are important for remittances and energy.
